Jamshedpur, Dec 31: DBMS Kadma High School archers won 12 medals in the CBSE National Archery Championship held at Vidya Niketan School and Junior College, Panchgani from December 27 to 30.
Students from the school bagged 8 gold and 4 silver medals.
Archers won gold in both Recurve under-19 boys and girls category and Indian Round Under-19 Boys’ Category.
Sourav Nishad was the standout athlete as he bagged four gold medals.
Pratham Ray won a gold and silver medal, Udit Dey won one gold, Md Rameez Akhtar won one gold, Arunima Roy bagged one gold, Aryan Singh won one silver medal, Tanmay Kr Singh won one silver medal and Shivam Kr Choudhary bagged one silver medal.
School Principal Gurpreet Bhambra congratulated the winners. She said, “The archers indeed made the school proud by their outstanding achievements.”
