Jamshedpur, Feb 5: The CSIR (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) UGC NET December-2024 examinations will be conducted from February 28 to March 2 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam will cover Mathematical Sciences, Earth-Atmospheric-Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences. It will be held for three categories—eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as an Assistant Professor and admission to PhD programs in universities.
According to the schedule, the examination for Mathematical Sciences, Earth-Atmospheric-Ocean and Planetary Sciences and Chemical Sciences will take place on February 28, while the Life Sciences paper will be held on March 1, followed by the Physical Sciences paper on March 2. The exam will be conducted in two shifts each day—the first shift from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the second shift from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Candidates have been advised to reach their respective examination centers well before the reporting time to ensure a smooth entry process
