Jamshedpur Crime: Youth dies in illegal Goalpahari liquor shop


Jamshedpur. In Parsudih police station area, a youth named Santosh Prasad died in an illegal Mahua liquor shop. After this, the local people came out on the road demanding action against the liquor shopkeeper. Stopped the police from taking the dead body. People continued to create ruckus demanding to call the station in-charge.In front of the station in-charge Rajendra Kumar Das, people also protested regarding the liquor shop. Police raided the shop.Taking advantage of the crowd creating a ruckus on the road, the woman selling liquor got the liquor removed from there.


Because of this, liquor could not be recovered from the shop. The woman selling liquor and her relatives got entangled with the people opposing the sale of liquor in front of the police. The police took the people away after persuading them.

Santosh Prasad, a resident of Parsudih Makadpur, used to come to the shop every day to drink alcohol. The youth died in the shop on Sunday afternoon. Liquor sellers removed the dead body from the shop and kept it on the roadside, on the information of which people created a ruckus which blocked the road. The family members of the deceased reached the spot on information. Demanded investigation of the matter from the police of Parsudih police station. People kept demanding the closure of liquor shops. Police say that appropriate action will be taken after investigation.
