Jamshedpur, Oct 31: Bistupur police arrested one Sumit Kumar in connection with the incident of assault on Saukit alias Kittu near Bodhanwala Ghat on 5th September last. They also confiscated two country-made pistols, four magazines and 12 bullets from his possession.

Sources said the accused was arrested from his house. Cops had got a top-off about him having come to his house. Earlier police had arrested six persons in connection with the assault case. Two persons had surrendered before police. Three accused in this case are still at large.
According to SP (Rural) Mukesh Kumar Lunayat, Kamal Agrawal had purchased two pistols for Rs 90,000 and given it to Sumit.
