Jamshedpur, April 18: Superintendent of Police (City), Jamshedpur, is all set to get a new office. His office is being shifted to the old District Transport Office (DTO) building.
In a bid to expedite the shifting process, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) M Tamil Vanan and SP City K Vijay Shankar jointly visited the old DTO building and inspected the premises. They found certain drawbacks in the office and suggested measures to cure the same.
The SP City said the now closed DTO office was meant to be used by the police department. With the DTO office having shifted to new building, the old building can be utilized as the SP City office, he said.
Officials said the old DTO building will soon be repaired before it is ready for use.
