Jamshedpur: Acting on the directive of Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi, a Public Grievance Redressal Day was organized at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in the Collectorate premises. The initiative aimed at directly addressing the concerns of common citizens and ensuring prompt administrative response.
The proceedings were led by Deputy Development Commissioner Aniket Sachan, who personally heard the grievances of citizens and ensured that all received applications were promptly forwarded to the concerned departments for necessary action. In several cases, immediate resolution was also provided on the spot.

During the session, a wide range of issues were raised by the public—ranging from personal grievances to community-related concerns. The matters included: Construction of toilets, Eviction and property disputes, Appointment of chowkidars, Pension delays, Pending wage payments, Road measurement, Anganwadi functioning, Family and land disputes and Ration and drinking water issues
More than 60 citizens from various parts of the district participated in the event and presented their problems directly to the officials. The open and accessible format of the program was appreciated by attendees, many of whom expressed hope that their issues would now be addressed in a time-bound manner.
Sachan emphasized the administration’s commitment to transparent and responsive governance. He assured that each application will be investigated thoroughly, and appropriate action will be taken to resolve the matters in a fair and timely manner.
