Jamshedpur, June 13: Central Bank of India organized a Mega Credit Camp under its project, Credit Outreach that included the Bank’s Jamshedpur Main Branch and its Ranchi Regional Office. The Central Bank of India’s Executive Director, Alok Srivastav was present on the occasion. The Bank disbursed education loan amounting to Rs 40 crore among XLRI students. The Executive Director of the Bank, said on the occasion, “Central Bank of India is ever conscious of its obligations and among these, there is a provision of providing Education Loan up to Rs 40 lakh without any collateral security or any co-debtor with the purpose to provide a solid future of the students. The nation is celebrating ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ on the occasion of the 75th year of independence and as one of Central Bank of India’s several other projects launched on the occasion, Credit Outreach Program has been launched across the country.”
Welcoming the guests including Central Bank’s esteemed customers, the Senior Regional Manager of the Bank’s Ranchi Region, Sunil Kumar, elaborated on the purpose of the Outreach Programme while stating, “This scheme is aimed at facilitating the process of providing loans to the needy people. The turn- around time (TAT) will be reduced so that the loans can be disbursed to the beneficiaries in the shortest possible time.”
Anshu Jha, Senior Chief Manager of Central Bank of India’s Jamshedpur branch proposed the vote of thanks to all present at the programme.
