Jamshedpur: Car kills 25 year-old on NH33 near Pipla

Jamshedpur, June 21: An unknown vehicle knocked down a 25 year old man to death on the National Highway 33 near Pipla under MGM police station area on Tuesday.

The victim was reportedly crossing the highway when a speeding car going towards Ghatsila hit him. He was thrown apart in the impact, sustaining critical injuries. He died at the scene, sources said.

Highway police patrol team reached the scene on getting intimation from the local villagers and sent the body to MGM Medical College for postmortem examination. Cops said the car driver fled the scene after the incident. They said they were trying to identify the errant driver and the deceased.
