Jamshedpur, Sep 24: Two factions of BJP leaders led by Shailesh Singh and Bunty Singh clashed violently in Sitaramdera police station area late Friday night. Both sides lodged police complaint against each other in this connection.
Bunty Singh, patron of Jambo Akhara, Baradwari, alleged that Shailesh Singh and his supporters had assaulted him. Shailesh Singh alleged that anti-social elements assemble near Jambo Akhara and harass women. He said Bunty Singh, his brother and associates had assaulted him when he raised objection to eve-teasing near Jambo Akhara.
Police said they were verifying the allegations leveled by both sides. No arresting has been made so far in the case, they said.
