Jamshedpur, July 10: Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP leaders Sunday condemned the incident of alleged defiling of a temple area in Kharangajhar by anti-social elements and gave a 24 hour ultimatum to police to arrest the culprits.

District BJP general secretary Rakesh Singh said certain anti-social elements had tried to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the city by throwing animal meat at an open place. He said such elements were trying to foment discord among different communities. He said such provocative acts should be prevented through an iron hand.

“The district police should scan the CCTV cameras installed near the temple to identify the culprits and arrest them without delay. A police post should be set up near the hill in the area and illegal activities should be stopped at once,” said Singh.
