Jamshedpur, May 14: The new committee of the city’s social organization, Bhaili Mahila Mandal, Jamshedpur, organized its initial programme in the form of a musical presentation of Sunderkand on the evening of Saturday, May 14 at the Sonari Rajasthan Bhawan where the court of Lord Hanuman was attractively decorated.
The hosts on the occasion were Kavita and Mahabir Agarwal who offered prayers. Pandit Bhushan conducted the prayer session. Local Bhajan singer Mahabir Agarwal regaled the devotees while rendering the passes from the Sunderkand in his sonorous voice. The devotees, entranced by the singer’s presentations danced in divine ecstasy.
Maha Aarti of Lord Hanuman was performed and consecrated food in the form of Prasad was distributed among devotees who thronged the venue.

Three social workers who devoted themselves towards the cause of citizens were honoured by the Bhaili Mahila Mandal. Rajkumar Singh who, apart from other humanitarian activities took the initiative of providing ample water supply through his tankers to colonies where people were desperate due to unavailability of water supply, has been serving the community through 12 years of dedicated and selfless service was honoured on the occasion. The other two persons who were honoured for their unstinted service to society were Sulochana Devi who had taken up the cause of housemaids and Sneha Jha who has been running programmes for allround uplift of underprivileged women and children. They were presented angavastram in honour of their dedicated services to society.
Ranjana Kedia, Vandana Jain, Suman Agarwal, Meera Agarwal, Anita Agarwal and others were among the organizers of the programme.
