Jamshedpur, May 20: State health minister Banna Gupta, Jharkhand state Congress president Rajesh Thakur, Bermo MLA Kumar Jai Mangal and other party leaders at the residence of Congress leader late SRA Rizwi Chhabban in Jamshedpur on Friday. They met Raees Rizwi, son of the deceased party leader, and condoled the death of his father.
Veteran Congress leader from Kolhan Syed Raza Abbas Rizvi Chhabban passed away on Thursday after a long battle against diabetes.
Rizvi, who was the flag bearer of Congress throughout his life, never compromised on values. He was 70 years old and was suffering from severe diabetes. In the presence of senior party leaders he was laid to rest at Dhatkidih Kabristan on THursday evening.
