Jamshedpur: Auto collides with bus, driver injured

Jamshedpur, May 21: In a harrowing incident near JRD Tata Sports Complex, an auto traveling at high speed collided with a bus under the jurisdiction of Bistupur police station. Fortunately, there were no passengers in the auto during the time of the collision. However, the auto driver, identified as Haider, sustained injuries in the accident. Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly arrived at the scene and transported the injured Haider to MGM Hospital for medical treatment. The police seized the damaged auto and took it to the local police station for further investigation. The front portion of the auto suffered extensive damage as a result of the collision. Haider, the injured driver, recounted that he was heading from Sakchi towards Kadma when the auto’s brakes failed near JRD Tata Sports Complex, leading to the collision with the bus ahead. Following the incident, the bus driver fled the scene with the bus. Currently, Haider is undergoing treatment at MGM Hospital.
