J.H. Tarapore School hosts Yuva talent comes to the fore

Jamshedpur : From making rangoli to cooking and making posters on environmental issues, students of J.H. Tarapore School displayed their creativity in various events.

Students from classes VI to XII participated in Yuva, a day-long cultural fest meant to showcase students’ creativity. More than 500 students of the school participated in the fest. Students participated in more than 18 events which was divided between juniors and seniors as per their level.

Students participated in a range of events like rangoli, healthy cooking, doodling, posters on environmental issues, mask making, dance competition, treasure hunt, paper jewellery making, hairstyling, tiara making and fashion show.
A teacher said that children participate in any two events. The participation gives them confidence. Moreover, children put their best foot forward to showcase their talent.

Students also participated in fashion show where the theme for the junior section was ‘Indian States’ and seniors beautifully presented the theme ‘Gods of Roman and Egyptian civilisation’. While juniors from classes VI to VIII dressed as Bengalis, Punjabis, Rajasthanis and other states, seniors represented their theme in unique characters.
