Jamshedpur, March 8: The Sports Department of J.H. Tarapore School organized Intra-School Carrom Tournament for teachers, fostering camaraderie and relaxation on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The event was declared open by the Principal and Vice Principal, adding to the enthusiasm of the participants.
The tournament, designed to encourage teamwork and leisure, saw enthusiastic participation from teachers across various departments. Much like the precision and strategy required in carrom, women skillfully balance multiple roles in their daily lives, a sentiment echoed throughout the event.
The winners of the tournament, Satish Sharma and Tr. Banasree Shaw, were felicitated alongside runners-up Tr. Sunita Tiwary and Tr. Arminder, and second runners-up Tr. Arpana Kumari and Tr. Priyadarshini. The initiative was well-received, providing teachers with a well-deserved break from their routine.
