Jamshedpur, Aug 3: In a heartfelt gesture of support, Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East donated a wheelchair to a leprosy patient residing at Prem Ashram in Baradwari. This donation was made possible through the generous contribution of Tata Motors, with unwavering support from Nav Jagrut Manav Samaj Secretary Parth Bhattacharya and under the supervision of Ashram Supervisor Jahar.
The recipient of the wheelchair is a patient whose severe leg condition has rendered him immobile, and he is facing an impending amputation of his right leg. The donation was facilitated by the club’s member Vijaya Gokhale.
The handover ceremony was attended by Inner Wheel Club President Madhumita Sanyal, Secretary Sachinta De, Dr. Meena Mukherjee and others.
