Jamshedpur, Jan. 14: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), East Singhbhum on Thursday received the top award for highest blood collection at voluntary blood donation camp, at SDS Conference hall in Ranchi-Purulia Road by Jharkhand state aids control society.
At the event several social organization who have been organizing blood donation camp were awarded. The East Singhhum society which collected the highest blood units (1223) at a single camp was organized on May 8, 2015 at Red Cross Bhawan in Sakchi.
The society has been received the top award from last 8 years.
