Jamshedpur, Jan. 14: K Nishan Seva Trust is all set to organize the third stage audition for the Taj Nite Season 7.
Jamshedpur auditions will be held on January 17 at Telco Recreation Club from 10 a.m.
“The previous six editions of the championship have been very successful where single, duet and group dance competitions are held. This year we have introduced Chhau dance to promote Jharkhand’s culture,” said K Nishan, organizer of the competition.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Nishan said, “Competitions will be held for sub-junior (3 to 7 years), junior (8 to 13 years) and senior (14 years and above) were the theme will be to promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Save Girl Child. A cash prize of Rs 60,000, a 6 feet trophy for Champion of Champions, best theme, best choreography will also be awarded.
Ekta, one of the organizers of the championship, said, “The auditions will be held in five states, including Maharashtra, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar and Odisha.”
The semi-final of the competition will be held at the Sidhgora Town Hall on January 30, while Gopal Maidan will host the grand finale on March 26 where celebrity judge Sanam Johar, winner of “Dare 2 Dance,” Naeem Akhtar of Zee TV and Varsha (Mrs. India Top 8) will be participating.
Nishan further informed that till date, 2000 participants have appeared for auditions. Present at the press meet was Sukhdev Mahato, Ashok Jaiswal, Deepak Ranjan, Ekta, Rashminarayan, Pankaj Sharma, Saurabh Suman Jha and Pariniti.
