IPL 2026: Jamshedpur, Dhanbad Set to Host BCCI Fan Parks 

Mumbai: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has selected Jamshedpur as one of the key destinations for Phase 2 of the IPL Fan Parks 2026. This initiative will bring the stadium-like thrill of the Indian Premier League to 30 cities across 18 states and one Union Territory, significantly expanding the tournament’s nationwide footprint.

The BCCI will host these Fan Parks across six consecutive weekends, starting April 18 and concluding May 24. These zones offer fans a vibrant, community-focused environment to cheer for their favorite teams.

New Cities Join the IPL Map

For the first time, the BCCI is introducing Fan Parks to several new locations, including:

• Kerala: Puthuppally

• Andhra Pradesh: Mangalagiri

• Himachal Pradesh: Chamba and Mandi

• Assam: Golaghat and Silchar

• Manipur: Imphal

By rotating venues across the North, South, East, and West zones every weekend, the league ensures maximum regional engagement and participation.

More Than Just a Screening

The BCCI promises an immersive experience beyond the giant screens. “Each Fan Park will feature live match screenings alongside music, entertainment, and food courts,” the board stated.

Fans can also participate in interactive activities, including:

• Virtual Zones: Batting zones and bowling nets.

• Skill Games: “Pitch Perfect” (balance), “Game of Throws” (aim), and “Don’t Miss the Ball” (reflexes).

• Family Fun: Kids’ play zones and face painting.
