Jamshedpur/Ranchi: The National Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship 2024-2025 will be held at Sarala Birla University, Ranchi, from March 20 to 23. The tournament will feature three International Arbiters from Jamshedpur—IA Jayant Kumar Bhuyan, IA Chandan Kr. Prasad, and IA Vishal Kumar Minz.
“It is a great honor for us,” said N.K. Tiwary, General Secretary of the East Singhbhum District Chess Association.
The prize pool for the Rapid event is ₹4 lakh, while the Blitz event carries ₹2.5 lakh. Organized by the Ranchi District Chess Association on behalf of the All Jharkhand Chess Association, the event is held under the aegis of the All India Chess Federation.
