IDTR Students excel at Technica 5.0 held at Arka Jain University Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Nov 8: Students from the Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR) delivered an outstanding performance at the two-day Technica 5.0 event hosted by Arka Jain University. The event featured nearly 45 competitions and attracted thousands of students from across the country. Over 200 IDTR students took part in various contests, securing top positions in multiple categories.

In Tug of War, the IDTR girls’ team comprising Diya Champia, Shruti, IUC Sakshi, Anushka, and Purnima emerged victorious, while another IDTR team (Aditi, Mansi, Riya Kumar, Riya Rajak and Barkha Rani) finished as runners-up. The boys’ team of Aditya Raj, Ajit, Suraj, Vikas and Rahul won first place, while another IDTR team of Ranjan, Karan, Abhishek, Bunty, and Shivam were runners-up.

Yuvraj from IDTR was crowned Mr. Technica 2025 and Avinash Kaur secured second place in pot painting. Second-year Mechatronics students Umesh, Bhoomi, Anushka and Rajkumar showcased an innovative Air Quality Monitoring System project, which was highly appreciated. In group dance, IDTR’s team of Akanksha Pandey, Sefa Rajak, Saloni, Ritika and Isa Mahato won the silver medal.

Training Head Ram Babu Verma praised the students’ performance, noting that such achievements boosted the morale and brought honor to the institution. The students were guided by Sumit Singh and Pankaj Kumar.
