Hulladek Recycling collects 2500 kg e-waste from Jamshedpur 

Jamshedpur, Oct 28: Hulladek Recycling Pvt Ltd, Eastern India’s fastest growing e-waste management company, has collected more than 2500 kgs of e -waste from more than 400 households of Jamshedpur during the festive seasons of Durga Puja and Diwali. The company, which is headquartered in Kolkata, has collection network of e-waste across 24 cities in 18 states of the country at present and plans to increase its collection points across all states of India.

Last month, Hulladek had launched a nation-wide e-waste collection drive, named the Festive Edit in association with 20 sustainable organizations like Inner Wheel, Akhil Bharatiya Mahila Samaj and others.  The objective was not only to organise a nationwide e-waste collection drive but also create awareness amongst the masses regarding the imperativeness of a greener and cleaner world.

The unconditional support of Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (JUSCO) has played an extensive role in the success of this awareness and collection campaign in Jamshedpur.

“During the festivals we do clean our homes and get rid of all kinds of waste. It is important that this waste is recycled in a proper manner, specially e – waste. Hence, we started this nationwide initiative in association with our partner organisations. We are overwhelmed with the response that we have received from the residents in and around Jamshedpur.
