Hosts JPS and VBCV joint winners of �EXOTICA 2015�

Jamshedpur, Nov. 28: The Commerce Club of Jamshedpur Public School (JPS) organized Inter School Commerce fest �EXOTICA� on Saturday, November 28.

The fest which has been organized for the past four years has been famous among the city schools as number of participating schools increases with every passing year. The Social Science Club joined hands with the Commerce Club to add aroma to the occasion since 2014.

The fest comprised of 15 events ranging from Extempore to Retrospection, Tap your feet to a Battle of Bands. Ad Mania and Treasure Hunt were also an integral part of the fest.

380 students from twelve schools of the city participated in the event. The participating schools were St Mary�s School, Tarapore Agrico, Baridih High School, AIWC Academy of Excellence, Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya (VBCV), Chinmaya Vidyalaya South Park, KPS Burmamines, Jusco School South Park, Dayanand Public School, SDMS School for Excellence, Rajendra Vidyalaya and hosts Jamshedpur Public School.

The winners of several events were: Retrospection: JPS won the first prize, Baridih High School was the runner-up while AIWC Academy of Excellence came third. In D� Mania: St Mary�s High School was first followed by JPS and KPS Burmamines.

Best out of Waste: St� Mary�s High School was first, AIWC Academy of Excellence was second while JPS came third. In Street Play: KPS Burmamines won the event while VIdya Bharti Chinmaya School and JPS ended in second and third place.

In Tap your Feet: AIWC Academy of Excellence was first, JPS was second while Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya came third. In Treasure Hunt: AIWC Academy of Excellence was winner followed by Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Chinmaya Vidyalaya, South Park.

Several other events also saw intense battle among students. The Overall Championship Trophy was bagged by Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Jamshedpur Public School.

Runners Up trophy was taken by St. Mary�s High School. Chief Guest Mr. Ronald D� Costa inaugurated the fest in AIWC chairperson, Mrs Srimanti Sen, the Principal Mrs Namita Agarwal and the commerce club moderator Mr. Subhranshu Dasgupta.
