Jamshedpur, July 17: Hill Top School hosted the Albert Barrow Memorial All-India Inter-School Creative Writing Competition 2015 (Category I) on behalf of the CISCE at school premises on Friday, July 17.
At the contest 24 students from 24 schools (16 local schools & 8 schools from Eastern India including Ranchi, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Patna, Rohtas, Rourkela, Jharsugda & Assam) participated. The competition began with a tribute to Late Mr Albert Barrow by Srijeeta Laru of Class XI.
The Supervisor for the competition was Mrs. Sangita Chatrath of Little Flower School. The students were asked to write a story, prose, dialogue, poem or drama on any of the following topics-Parents today � objects of admiration or embarrassment?, Nostalgia � as a teenager look back to the days when your family was your world, The new-look joint family. Is it working?, Student � Teacher bond � the changing paradigm.
The Albert Barrow Memorial All India Inter School Creative Writing Competition 2014 is an event conducted at National Level for students of ICSE and ISC by the Council for the Indian School Certification Examination each year and the best essays (Nationwide) at both levels feature in a special publication by the Council.
