Jamshedpur: South Eastern Railway has announced the regulation of several trains in the Ranchi Division due to ongoing developmental works, impacting travel between 19th January and 2nd February 2025. This includes the cancellation, rescheduling, and diversion of a number of trains to facilitate the work.
As part of the cancellations, the following trains will be affected: the 18602/18601 Hatia-Tatanagar-Hatia Express from 20th January to 2nd February 2025; the 18114 Bilaspur-Tatanagar Express from 19th January to 1st February 2025; and the 18113 Tatanagar-Bilaspur Express from 20th January to 2nd February 2025. Additionally, the 18628/18627 Ranchi-Howrah-Ranchi Express will be cancelled from 20th January to 31st January 2025. The MEMU trains including 68036 Hatia-Tatanagar, 68035 Tatanagar-Hatia, 13503 Barddhaman-Hatia, and 13504 Hatia-Barddhaman, as well as the 18175/18176 Hatia-Jharsuguda-Hatia Express, are also among those that will be cancelled during this period. The Ranchi-Bokaro Steel City Passenger (58033/58034) and Hatia-Sanki MEMU (58663/58664, 58665/58666) will also be cancelled from 20th January to 2nd February 2025.
In addition to cancellations, there will be some rescheduling, most notably for the 20887 Ranchi-Varanasi Vande Bharat Express, which will depart 30 minutes later from Ranchi between 20th and 31st January 2025.
Several trains will also be diverted to alternate routes, including the 06055 Podanur-Barauni Special, which will be diverted via Rourkela-Sini-Chandil-Muri-
