Jamshedpur: In a landmark event, RVS Skill Academy held its first-ever Convocation cum Alumni Meet at the R.V.S. College Auditorium today. The event celebrated the Academy’s achievements in skill development and community upliftment, with a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, industry leaders and alumni.
The Chief Guest, Dipankar Choudhary (IAS), Director ITDA, Jamshedpur, along with Guests of Honour Avinash Kumar, Labour Superintendent Jamshedpur II and Arvind Kumar, DSO East Singhbhum, graced the occasion. The event was further honored by the presence of Binda Singh, Chairman, RVS Educational Trust, Bharat Singh, Secretary, Shatrughan Singh, Treasurer and Shakti Singh, Executive Member.

Prominent guests included Prof. Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari, Principal of RVSCET and industry representatives such as Ramkishan Lodha, National Head of RVS Skill Academy; Vineet Shrivastava, State Head; Anand Kaushal, Business Head; Sanjeev Anand, HR Head of Zenith Forging; and Kranti Kumar, HR Head of Matt Foundry India.
The program began with a welcome address by Ramkishan Lodha, who emphasized the Academy’s mission to empower underprivileged communities through skill development. Shatrughan Singh highlighted the Academy’s impact, training over 2,000 individuals in the past 1.5 years across its four centers in Jharkhand, including East Singhbhum and Dumka.

Chief Guest Dipankar Choudhary commended the Academy’s contributions, stating, “RVS Skill Academy is setting benchmarks in workforce development. It has become synonymous with excellence, aiding the Government in building a skilled and empowered Jharkhand.”
The event also featured inspiring speeches from alumni who shared their success stories, demonstrating the transformative impact of the Academy’s programs. Industry leaders praised the Academy for bridging the gap between industry requirements and workforce readiness.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Vineet Shrivastava, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, participants and alumni for their contributions to the event’s success.
