Jamshedpur: MLA Purnima Sahu conducted an extensive inspection of Anganwadi centres in Sidhgora, Vidyapatinagar and Birsanagar on Thursday to review their facilities and operations.
Accompanied by District Social Security Officer Neha Khalko, the MLA assessed the quality of nutritional food, educational materials and sanitation standards. She also interacted with Anganwadi workers and assistants to understand their challenges and needs.
Sahu emphasized the importance of digital reporting for transparency and suggested setting up information boards at Anganwadis. “Every effort will be made to improve the basic facilities for children and workers,” she assured.
She further encouraged widespread awareness of government welfare schemes, ensuring that eligible beneficiaries could access them.
