Jamshedpur: Hassan Imam of Tata Steel�s Sports Department has been appointed as manager of the Indian Senior Men Handball team for the International Handball Championship at Tashkent (Uzbekistan) scheduled from September 25 to 30, 2018.
Imam is coach of the Tata Steel Handball Training Centre and also a member of the Technical Committee of the Handball Federation of India.
The Tata Steel Handball Training Centre currently has around 50 – 60 trainees and has been instrumental in grooming talented youngsters who have made it to the State and National level teams.
The Tata Steel family wished Hassan Imam and the Indian Handball team a successful tour of Tashkent.
