Haryana police arrest woman from Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: A team of Haryana police arrested a woman from the Govindpur police station in the wee hours today. The woman was identified as Jagjit Kaur alias Jashna. The police team moved to Jamshedpur court for obtaining transit remand to Haryana. A resident of Kamdhenu Apartment in Govindpur, Jashna and her husband Sunil Kapoor were accused of cheating and misappropriation in Haryana in the year 2021. In this connection, the police had procured an arrest and were searching for the accused couple who was hiding at a relative’s house in Govindpur. Govindpur police station OC, Dharmendra Agarwal said that Jashna’s husband managed to escape during the raid conducted jointly by Haryana and Govindpur police. They have arrested his wife.
