Gamharia, July 13: Singhbhum Zila Santmat Satsang Samiti organized Guru Purnima Mahotsava at Santmat Satsang Ashram in Satvahini, Dhirajganj, on Wedneday. A discourse was organized after puja in the morning.
Ram Kishore Sharma gave discourse from the scriptures. District president Maheshanand Poddar spoke the life and personalty of Bhagwan Ved Vyas and threw light on the importance of guru.
A group of singers sang several melodious bhajans. After bhajan, a grand bhandara (feast) was organized for the devotees. A large number of people participated in the programme. The organizers included Raman Kumar Labh, Muralidhar Kedia and Umesh Singh.
