Jamshedpur, Oct 15: One of the prominent puja pandals in Jamshedpur, Sri Sri Sarvajanik Durga Puja pandal held the ground breaking ceremony at Bagbera road no 4 on Wednesday. Amid vedic chants and rituals the pandal construction work started. Keeping Covid pandemic in mind, a simple pandal will be constructed while puja will be held with full devotion. President of the committee Santosh Thakur performed the ground breaking ceremony in presence of priests Inderjeet Pandey and Sandeep Pandey. The pandal construction work has started in full swing.
Sri Sri Sarvajanik Durga Puja committee has decided to distribute masks, sanitizers and goods among the needy.
President of the committee Santosh Thakur said, puja will be performed keeping in mind the guidelines issued by the state government. “Will see to it that COVID norms including social distancing are followed and people are always wearing masks and using sanitizers, “added Thakur. Also present on the occasion were committee members and locals.
