Jamshedpur, Feb 11: On the penultimate day of the 75th Saastha Preethi Celebrations, the pujas at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple started with havan for Maha Ganapati. Ved Pandits did 28 kalash sthapana for all the deities of the Temple. The Temple pandits then performed Mahanyasa Poorvaka Ekadasha Rudra Poornabhishek for Sri Maha Ganapati, Sri Kartik and Sri Dharma Saastha with the Ved Pandits chanting Rudram for 11 times.
After this maha arati was shown and prasad was distributed to thousands of devotees. As part of prasad coconut milk payas made from 700 coconuts was distributed to the devotees. Members of Acharya Bhakta Sabha rendered bhajan which captivated the audience
In the evening, grand Shobha Yatra of Maha Ganapati, Kartik and Dharma Saastha was taken out in Bistupur area to the accompaniment of Nadaswaram by PKM Ravi and party. Women devotees also rendered devotional songs and performed traditional dance during the procession.
