Jamshedpur, June 12: A sudden fire erupted in Rajesh Gupta’s glass shop, located near Lal Building Chowk under the jurisdiction of Bagbeda police station, late on Sunday evening. The fire rapidly consumed the shop before Rajesh could comprehend the situation.
Rajesh promptly alerted the Bagbeda Police and the Jharkhand Fire Department, while local residents also rallied to control the flames. Despite their efforts, the fire engulfed the entire shop before it was eventually brought under control. According to Rajesh, there was a heap of garbage behind his shop, which someone had set on fire, leading to the spread of the flames to his establishment. The fire resulted in an estimated loss of approximately 1.50 lakhs.
