Jamshedpur: National Girls Day was celebrated under the Child Journalist
Programme in several schools of Jamshedpur and Ghatsila block on Friday.
The purpose of the programme was to create awareness among children and the people in general
about various social evils and the need to fight them.
The programme organizers informed children about anaemia, malnutrition, human trafficking and female foeticide.
