Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West Hosts Health Camp

16 Cataract Cases Detected

Jamshedpur: Continuing its mission to improve community well-being, the Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West organized a comprehensive Project Positive Health (PPH) and eye check-up camp today at Super Petro Services in Bhatia Basti, Kadma.

The initiative, held in partnership with Purnima Netralaya, provided critical medical screenings to 102 local residents between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Major Health Outcomes

The primary focus of the camp was early detection and prevention. Following thorough examinations, medical teams identified 16 patients suffering from cataracts.

In a significant move to support these individuals, the Rotary Club has arranged for their surgeries to be performed free of cost at Purnima Netralaya on February 28, 2026.
