School girls injured in road mishap at Kadma

Jamshedpur : In a road mishap two school students were seriously injured as the scooty they were riding was hit by a car on Cross Road No 8 in Farm Area under Kadma
police station area.

The victims were identified as Ashu Abhishek and Emanuel Sabrine both sixteen-year-old, the
injured were the student of class 10 of Carmel Junior College and were going to a classmate’s house from Kagal Nagar in Sonari to Kadma KD Flat as the mishap took place.

As the two were coming, a car hit them and the scooty riders lost control, resulting in the mishap.

As the mishap took place both the scooty riders fell on the ground with multiple injuries. The injured were rushed to the MGM Medical College and Hospital.

At the medical college hospital, the injured students were administered first-aid, but after their parents arrived at the medical college hospital, the injured were shifted to the Tata Main Hospital.

Officer-in-charge, Kadma police station, Indu Bhushan Kumar confirmed that there was a road mishap involving a car and a scooty at Kadma Farm Area.

“We have seized the car after making the injured to medical college hospital for treatment. The condition of the injured was serious,” said the officer-in-charge.

According to the relatives, the injured students are supposed to appeare in the 2014 ICSE board examination scheduled to begin from February this year, and they were going to their class-mate’s house in KD Flat for bringing the notes of some subjects while preparing for the ensuing examination.
