Jamshedpur, October 31: Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar Navyug Dal (Youth unit) Tatanagar, paid tributes to the soldiers on the occasion of Diwali with the inmates of Devnagar leprosy home in Baradwari on Sunday.
At the event the members and children lighted diyas and shared sweets. The leprosy home children also burnt crackers to celebrate the occasion.
Members also prayed for the wellbeing of the families of the martyred soldiers and informed the children about the importance of Diwali and why it is celebrated.
On the occasion Soni Kumari, Shweta, Manorama Kumari, Suresh Kumar, JK Sanchan, Rajan Gupta, Raju, Amar Singh, Dr. Vinay Singh and others were present.
