Jamshedpur youth congress pays rich tribute to Indira Gandhi, Sardar Patel

Jamshedpur, October 31: Jamshedpur Lok Sabha Yuva Congress Committee headed by its vice-president Rakesh Sahu observed the 141st birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as ‘National Progress day’ and 32nd death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi as ‘Tyag Samarpan Diwas’ at Shaheed Chowk in Sakchi on Monday, October 31.

On the occasion congress workers paid floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Patel and Indira Gandhi and pledged to walk on the path laid down by the two leaders.

Addressing the gathering,Rakesh Sahu, said, NarendraModi government is celebrating the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel but is not observing the death anniversary of Indira Gandhi which is an insult to one of the great leaders of our country and both were from Congress party.

On the occasion, Jharkhand state congress party, secretary Sanjeev Srivastava, former secretary Vijay Yadav, Youth congress general secretary Nalini Sinha, Jyoti Mishra, Ashish Mukhi, Shamsher Alam, Dilip Jha, Mukesh Yadav, Shrawan Sao, Kamlesh Sao, Manoj Sao, Vijay Sao, Saurabh, Sukhvinder Singh, Taniya Gupta, Ganesh Rao, Sitaram Tiwari, Ganesh Rao and others were present.
