Jamshedpur, Jan 28: In a raid conducted in the lead of Gamharia Police Station Officer, Manoj Kumar Gupta on Monday, Jan 27 the police was successful in arresting criminal Mohammed Shrafuddin with a loaded pistol and two live cartridges from near IOC mode in Gamharia.
Talking to the media persons today, SP of district Madan Mohan Lal said that acting on a tip off Gamharia Police conducted raid and arrested Shrafuddin who was about to execute an incident.
The arrested is of Balipos Village and have recovered a pistol and two live cartridges, added Lal.
SP further said that while investigating the matter arrested criminal confessed that he was hired and given Rs. 2 lakh to get rid of a business man of the area.
SP added that arrested Shrafuddin is of criminal nature and he has several cases registered against him in Gamharia, Adityapur, Seraikela and has been sent behind bars for loot, robbery, murder and other cases.
