Frisking of visitors at Jubilee Park

Jamshedpur : Tata Steel along with East Singhbhum district administration will ensure security measures at the Jubilee Park illumination as part of  the Founder�s Day celebration commencing from March 2. � In order to ensure safety, frisking will be carried out jointly by security forces of Tata Steel, Jusco and district police on all the visitors at both the entrance gates (CFE end and Sakchi end) to the park. Cigarettes, alcoholic beverages, horn and boom box, coins etc will be prohibited for the visitors entering to watch illumination at Jubilee Park between March 3 and March 5. In all 22 CCTV have been installed at various locations to keep surveillance on movement of visitors. More than six watch towers doubling up as control room will be manned by security personnel and Jusco officials to keep a tab on movement of visitors,� said Jusco senior GM (Jamshedpur Town Operation), Dhananjay Mishra. This apart there will be separate queues for men and women at the entrance points, vehicles will only be allowed between 10 pm and 11 pm.
