Free health and eye check-up of KSMS students and faculty

Jamshedpur, Nov 19: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMAS) Alumni Association, in partnership with Rotary Club’s Dalma branch organized a free health and eye check-up camp for the teachers and students of the institution’s Hindi Medium wing on Saturday, November 19 under ‘Project School.’

While 423 students underwent full body check up, 78 among them also had their eyes tested. Spectacles, as per requirements to students were also provided.

Earlier, the health check up camp was inaugurated jointly by Chief Guest and HoD Cardiology Department at Tata Main Hospital, Dr Mandri Mahavir Sah, KSMS managing committee Chairman KPG Nair, School Headmistress Nandini Shukla, Alumni President Manish Kumar Chowdhary and Rotary Club Dalma Branch President Rupsa Das also KSMS Alumni. The guests stressed on the fact that daily exercise was very important for health and longevity. Yogesh and Nidhi Modi of Modi Health Care and the Purnima Netralay participated in conducting the health and eye check camp. Among others who were present at the camp included Principal Anuranjan, Alumni Committee Vice President V Murali Manohar, Secretary Deepak Puri, Joint Secretary Dinankrit Agarwal, Alumni members Amar Moonka, Gopi Krishnan, KBHSN Murthy and Rotary Club members Khushbu Chowdhary, Saraswati, Sushmita Chakraborty, Suman Sarkar and others.
