Four Jamshedpur youths arrested with stolen mobile phones

Jamshedpur: City police arrested four persons with stolen mobile phones on Monday.
Those arrested were identified as Mohammad Taufiq, Mohammad Akbar, Mohammad Firoz and Mohammad Akeeb, all residents of Mango.

According to police, the accused persons had stolen mobile phones from different persons in the city. The four worked as a gang and lifted mobile phones from shops and other places, police said.

Cops confiscated two mobile phones and two Aadhar cards from the possession of the accused persons. They arrested the four on the basis of a tip-off. A police team led by Bishnu Prasad Raut, officer in-charge of Azadnagar police station, raided several places in Azadnagar and Zakirnagar localities of Mango and arrested the accused persons. A search is on for other associates of the accused, police said.
