Jamshedpur: Four books including Jharkhand Prabha were launched in a function organized on the occasion of foundation day of Jharkhand Sahitya Parishad at Matajee Ashram, Hata, on Sunday. Dr Jayant Dey was felicitated on the occasion. The chief guest of the proramme was the MLA of Potka Menka Sardar while the special guests were the local Mukhiya Savitri Sardar, Malti Mardi and Urmila Samad, member of Panchayat Committee.
The programme was inaugurated by the MLA who lit the ceremonial lamp. In her address, the MLA said Jharkhand Prabha was being regularly published for the last 13 years which was an example of linguistic unity.
Among those present on the occasion included Shankar Chandra Gope, Narayan Chatterjee, BN Singh, Dulal Mukherjee, Krishnakant Mandal, Tapan Mandal, Rajkumar Sahu, Mani Pal, Ajit Sardar, Dulal Chandra Das and Bulu Mandal.
