Jamshedpur, July 26: Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Jamshedpur, Mamata Priyadarshi Tuesday appealed to all citizens and agencies to remove hoardings, banners and posters installed or fixed on trees by 5th August. After 5th August, fines would be imposed on individuals and agencies responsible for fixing banners and posters by driving nails into trees, she said.
The DFO said a special campaign would be launched across Jamshedpur forest division to save trees from being used for advertisement purposes.
