Jamshedpur, April: The Election Observer and District Returning Officer jointly presided over the scrutiny of nomination papers filed by candidates for the Jamshedpur Lok Sabha seat. In the process, the nomination forms of five contestants were rejected while those of 24 others were found to be in order.
The names of candidates whose nomination papers were rejected are Sunil Kumar Mandal, Anand Kumar Patralekh, Indrajit Kumar Chandel, Doman Chandra Bhakat and Sadhan Kumar Gorai.
The Kolhan Division Commissioner Vijay Kumar Singh is scheduled to inspect the polling booths in the Jamshedpur West Vidhan Sabha constituency from 9 am.
