Five booked in Jamshedpur murder case

Jamshedpur, Oct 27: Mango police have registered an FIR against five persons in connection with the brutal killing of a man, identified as Zahid Khan, a resident of Road No 13.  

Those accused were identified as Azmal alias Sonu, Mohammad Zahid Khan, Mohammad Zahid alias Bhappu, Gauhar Ansari and Chhote alias Wasim.

Zahid, 35, was stoned to death on the night of 25^th October last. He had gone out of his house around 11 pm and failed to return. Next day, his body was spotted by his neighbour.

Shahzad Khan, brother of the deceased, said his brother was killed brutally following a land dispute with the accused persons. He said his brother had purchased one bigha land near Gulmohar, Mango, recently and was planning to set up some business over the said property. He said his brother had earlier received multiple threats in connection with the said disputed land.
