Jamshedpur: As part of the nationwide Financial Inclusion Saturation Campaign, special camps will be organized across 19 Panchayats of East Singhbhum district on Saturday, August 2.
The campaign, launched by the Department of Financial Services, Government of India, is being conducted from July 1 to September 30, 2025, with the aim of connecting citizens to banking facilities and expanding enrollment under social security schemes.
During the camps, services such as Jan Dhan Yojana account opening, enrollment in Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY), Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY), Atal Pension Yojana (APY), re-KYC, and nominee updates will be facilitated. Citizens will also receive guidance on digital transactions, cyber security, and financial literacy.
The camps will be held in the Panchayats of Manushmudhia, Beldih, Birdoh, Sardiha, Kendua, Bankati, Baghbeda, Chhota Govindpur (North), Gadda (Central), Ghaghidih (Central), Haludbani (West), Kalimati (West), Sarjamda (Central), Banamkadi, Badia (West), Parulia, Lachchipur, Muhulbani, and Haldipukur (West).
Officials have appealed to local public representatives, Panchayat members, and citizens to actively participate in the camps and extend their support to ensure that more people benefit from the schemes, thereby strengthening the vision of financial inclusion.
