Fashion X exhibition cum sales fair gets underway at Tulsi Bhawan

Jamshedpur, July 14:  As a part of its programme for women’s empowerment, the women’s wing, Surabhi, of Marwari Yuva Manch Steel City branch launched a three day fair, Fashion X, at Tulsi Bhawan in Bistupur on Thursday, July 14. The exhibition cum sale fair will be open for visitors between 10 am and 9 pm on all the three days.

The Fashion X fair was jointly inaugurated by chief guests Professor (Dr) Anjila Gupta, the Vice Chancellor of Jamshedpur Women’s University, Dr Anil Gupta and Suman Nagelia.

Prof Dr Anjila Gupta praised the efforts of Surabhi for their initiative on several social causes including empowering women. She conveyed her best wishes to the Surabhi team for all future endeavors on the social horizon.

Surabhi unit President, Usha Chaudhary said that Fashion X was organized with the objective of providing a larger platform to women who created various decorative, dress and domestic utility products at home that impeded their proper marketing and limited their income earning avenues.

Usha announced that six lucky draws would be conducted on each of the three days for customers at the fair and the winners would be provided attractive gifts. that a special gift has also been kept for the customers, 6 lucky draws will be conducted on all three days in which silver coins will be given as a gift to the winners. The first lucky draw of the fair was conducted on the inaugural day and the winners, Khushi Jaiswal and Soumya Jamalpuria won Riddhi Diamonds that were presented by Lucky Draw Gifts Riddhi Diamond was presented by Suman Nagelia.

The Surabhi organizing committee led by President Usha Chaudhary included Branch Secretary Nidhi Agarwal, Treasurer Neelam Debuka, Program Coordinator Vinita Naredi and Saroj Bansal including other members. Shankar Singhal, Rajesh Pasari, Ram Gopal Chaudhary, Pankaj Chhavchharia, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Mahavir Agarwal and Kavita Agarwal were present as guests at the inaugural function.
