Jamshedpur: Sadar Hospital has recently completed an eight-bed post-operative ward to enhance patient convenience and safety during the recovery period after surgery. Dr. Jujhar Majhi, the Civil Surgeon, is preparing for the inauguration of this new post-operative ward. State Health Minister Banna Gupta is expected to join in the inauguration, which will also include the opening of a waiting hall and a new registration counter for pregnant women within the hospital premises.

The post-operative ward has been established on the first floor of the hospital to provide a dedicated space for surgical patients, ensuring they are kept together until they recover from the operation. This step aims to protect patients from infections. Following recovery, patients will be moved to the general ward based on the recommendations of the attending physicians. The inauguration of these new facilities is a significant step toward improving healthcare services at Sadar Hospital.
