English Elocution contest at Convent School

Jamshedpur, Aug 3: Sacred Heart Convent School organised annual English Elocution contest in the school hall on Friday. Judges for the contest were Dr Reena Hazra and Neena Mathur.

Students of class 6 to 12 participated in the competition and displayed their oratory skills. Class 6 students recited poetry. Shambhavi Tewari won the first prize and Riya Ekka was second.

Aditi Upadhyay and Adiba Fatwa of class 7 and 8 bagged the top two spots in their presentation of prose.

Declamation contest was held for girls of class 9 and 10. Harshita Shankar and Shrestha Sarah Koshey were declared the best.

In the turncoat contest for class 11 students- Devanshi Mitra won first prize followed by Vanshita Savarna. Class 12 girls participated in the Shakespearean speeches contest were Upneet Kaur was the winner and Aakshi Shrivastav was second.
